First-ever ClimaTech Conference a Success

Thanks to NECEC, City of Boston & Schneider Electric for hosting 'Climate Tech on the Plaza' last week, what a great event! 50+ start-ups showcased their innovations, and the surrounding conversations and insights did not disappoint. While there are too many to list, we’ll highlight just a few here under the theme of #BuiltEnvironment:

- Stepwise- allows people to add high speed charging for their EV's without upgrading their electrical panel. Your panel has more capacity than you probably think - Stepwise can help you tap into it!

- Reframe Systems- uses 'robotic technology and people power' for construction. And as of last week (7/22/24), they are live in the world w/ their first 2-bedroom all electric net-zero passive house in Arlington, MA. Congratulations!

- Adept Materials- have developed a paint that doubles as a vapor barrier. Pretty cool (pun intentional)!

Elayne Cronin, Ph.D. and I learned a lot, saw a lot and gained valuable insights from this experience and we are hopeful to participate again next year!
