A Mug ‘O Joe

In this #CapitalEnergy #Mugshot! installment we are featuring our friend, and fellow outdoor and environmental enthusiast, Joe Wardwell. When Joe is not teaching art to his students at Brandeis University, you can likely find him enjoying the mountains or the beach, or working in his Dorchester studio creating new art of all shapes and sizes.

You can see his work featured in mural format at Mass Moca, for example, or in pieces like "High" shown here - one of our personal favorites quoting John Muir. Muir was a true pioneer in early environmental advocacy and dedicated his life to preserving wilderness areas. His vision was instrumental in creating today’s National Park system, and we think this is worth celebrating!
